i would have given you the biggest hug and a huge bouquet of flowers,
bring you to the best restaurant,
buy you the most expensive and glamorous cake,
sing you the loudest birthday song,
buy you the most beautiful jade jewellery to match the elegant one on your neck,
and make everyone envious of you.

so many things about you i miss
your signature "morning call" style,
your above-and-beyond-restaurant-standard home cookings,
your standard of cleanliness at home so none of us fall sick easily,
how you shower and scrub my back when i was a kid,
your devotion to your religion,
your unconditioned love to everyone,
your silent concern,
your smoking ash tray,
how you always let me draw on your phonebook,
your afternoon tea love of coffee and peanut paste soup,
so much more...

but you left without saying good-bye,

nobody told me why.
